The decking will be pre-treated if necessary to kill off algae spores and break down other organic growth. Following this one of our professionally trained technicians will gently pressure wash the decking a few days later without risk of damage or striping; we will then return a couple of days after this once the wood has dried out to apply the decking oil which penetrates into the wood better once dry.
The decking oil that we use is supplied by Smartseal for long-lasting protection.
Cleaning Time recognises the importance of keeping decking well maintained, which means not only cleaning and pressure washing but, most importantly, restoring and maintaining with good decking oil.
Untreated timber can irreversibly dry out and in some cases, rot.
